Maternity and Baby Store Brand

Client: Coccolati SLU. Spain
Design and management of a brand and business dedicated to the sale and distribution of baby and maternity products.
The name “Coccolati” comes from the Italian verb coccolare, which means “to pamper”. In its plural form, coccolati translates to “pampered”
Branding
The project consisted of developing the entire brand identity for the Coccolati stores, ranging from the logo to the retail spaces, website, communication materials, and brand system.
A Brand Guidelines Book was created containing all the instructions, requirements, and restrictions for implementing the brand in both physical and digital formats.
Pantone Red 485C was featured as the primary and distinctive color, consistently paired with white. As complementary accents, Acid Lime Green 14-0340 TCX and Cocoa Brown 19-1119 TCX were used to support the brand’s signature red in certain accessories and visual details across products and the website.
Interior / Store Design
The finishes, materials, and furniture for the stores were implemented according to the manual’s guidelines, preserving the brand identity across both retail locations.
In the physical stores, this brown palette was applied to walls and floors using various materials (wood flooring, paint, laminates, etc.), while the fixtures remained white. Additionally, a red accent wall was consistently placed at the end of the customer’s line of sight (behind the counter or at the end of the aisles).
Web Design
Both the physical store and the website (including the online store) maintained a similar color palette featuring pastel tones, achieved by desaturating the Pantone Cocoa 19-1119 TCX brown in three steps.
On the website, developed in WordPress, and the Shopify online store, the same color palette from the physical stores was applied. In the digital environment, the corporate red does not take center stage; it only appears in navigation details and the homepage logo.
